Co-Founder Mark Herbert Begins First Phase of Retirement January 2009
North Grafton, Mass., The coming of the New Year is traditionally a time for change, and that is especially true for us this year at Sunshine Sign. It is with a mix of sadness and pride that we announce that founding partner Mark Herbert is beginning the first phase of his planned retirement from the sign business.
As many of you know, Sunshine was a very small company when it began over a quarter century ago, in 1982. From our first projects, when there were just two of us working part-time to provide roadside construction signs, we slowly but surely grew to become one of the leading sign companies in the region. From that time to the present, we have been known for two things above all: the quality of our craftsmanship, and our commitment to understanding and meeting our clients' needs.
In keeping with this commitment to client service, we'd like to set a time when you can meet with the Sunshine Sign professionals that will be taking over Mark's role as your main contact with our company. We are happy to schedule the meeting at whatever time and location are most convenient for you. We'll plan to follow up with you sometime in the coming weeks, although if you prefer you can contact us in the meantime if you'd like to request a particular meeting time.
Both Mark and the rest of the Sunshine team are dedicated to making this transition a positive experience for you. For the present, Mark will continue to play an important role at Sunshine, and plans to remain actively involved in special projects and, in particular, in ensuring that your transition to your new team goes smoothly.
Please accept our best wishes for the coming year and we look forward to speaking with you soon.
